Erap, Gloria, Noynoy, itinaob lahat ni Digong


Batay sa inilabas na Comparative Performance and Trust Ra­tings of Presidents ng Pulse Asia, si Pangulong Duterte ang may pinakamataas na nakuhang puntos sa kanyang approval rating na 80% at trust rating na 80%.
Ikinagalak ng Malacañang ang positibong pulso ng publiko sa resulta ng survey ng Pulse Asia kung saan pinakamataas pa rin ang nakuhang marka ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa trust at approval rating kumpara sa tatlong dating pangulo ng bansa.
Ibinase ang paghahambing simula May 1999 hanggang September 2017 mula sa administrasyon nina dating Pangulong Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo at Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III.
Sinabi kahapon ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque na natutuwa sila sa pananaw at suporta ng publiko kay Pangulong Duterte at malugod niyang tinatanggap ito.
Gayonman, sinabi ni Roque na ano man ang maging resulta ng survey ay magpapatuloy ang Pangulo at ang kanyang gabinete sa kanilang trabaho para maitaguyod ang interes ng samba­yanang Filipino.
“We are pleased with the people’s verdict gi­ving President Rodrigo Roa Duterte 80% approval rating and 80% trust rating – the highest since the time of former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada.
The President accepts this public appreciation with all humility, but regardless of survey results, PRRD and the members of his Cabinet would continue to work and advance public inte­rests and build, as he said in numerous occasions, a nation worthy of the Filipinos,” ayon pa kay Roque.
Nakikita at ramdam ng taumbayan ang pagsisikap na pagbabago sa pamahalaan ng gobyernong Duterte.
Ito ang pahayag ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Martin Andanar kaugnay sa latest survey ng Pulse Asia kung saan lumabas na si Pangulong Duterte ang most approved at trusted president  kumpara sa mga nakalipas na pangulo ng bansa na kinabilangan nina dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo at Benigno Aquino III.

BIR Slaps Renato Reyes (Bayan) with ₱1.05M Tax Evasion Charges

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Friday filed a ₱1.05 million tax evasion case against Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) Secretary General Renato Reyes Jr., for failing to pay his personal income taxes since 2009. BIR legal counsel Atty. Brigido Loyola said Reyes’ failed to file income tax returns especially last year where he made more than ₱5.7 million from three major rallies, including the 2016 Asean Summit where he reportedly earned ₱2.5 million according to court records. Reyes, a career activist, has denied many times earlier that he is not earning a dime from organizing protests and all of his works are in voluntary basis. But Loyola said Reyes family expenses are more than his wife’s salary – who is physician working in a public hospital.
