Another dream was burnt into ashes by an illegal drug user.
Netizens were alarmed because of the increasing rape-slay cases after the Oplan Tokhang by the Philippine National Police was suspended by the President.
Last week, another innocent 19 year old was victimized, allegedly raped and stabbed until death by an illegal drug user.
The victim was identified as Bheanca Anne M. Punzalan, 19, a boutique staff from Lucena City.
According to the report of PTV News, Bheanca decided to work and earn money because her parents cannot afford her studies to become a police officer.
But her dream to become a police was brutally ended by a drug addict that already stalking the victim since November 7.
The rape-slay happened after the suspect saw that the victim was already alone at the botique, he only spent six minutes just to do the crime.
Bheanca’s bloody body was discovered inside the botique where she worked, the authorities found multiple stab wounds and a knife was even left embedded in her eye.
Barangay officials quickly arrested the still blood tainted suspect while pleasuring himself inside a house that he trespassed.
The authorities is still not yet naming the suspect, but according to them, the man that they caught was positive in using illegal drugs and possibly suffering in mental disorder.
The suspect also received several scratches, an evidence that the victim fought back, but overpowered by the drug addict.
Quezon, PPO Provincial Director Rhoderick Armamento admitted that the suspension of Oplan Tokhang made the criminals especially drug addicts and pushers confident again to roam the streets and commit a crime.
The authorities continued tracking drug suspects so when the Oplan Tokhang brought back, they can arrest them immediately.
Family of Bheanca and the netizens also asked the government to revive the death penalty and Oplan Tokhang to prevent another brutal crime to happen.
Netizens also challenged the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to condemn the increasing crime committed by drug addicts.
